SUMMARY

With war raging on the Vorian front, Horizon continues to find itself getting caught up in the feuds of their allies. Horizon-1 is currently trying to find the ancient prophetic Book of Nosah'trah, acting based on the words of the elusive De'sya Kamin.

David Connor is back on Earth, spending some quality time with his wife and daughter. He prepares to leave for work in the morning, but certain individuals have other plans. David and his family are beamed up onto a stolen ISGC craft.

David soon learns that his family might be in great danger if he does not obey his enemies. As Horizon functions unknowingly, David must fight for his own survival, and the survival of those he loves.

NOTES
-Due to it still being too early, several important guest characters are not yet added to the list.
-As Alex Rubit has mentioned, there will indeed be a season three of Stargate Horizon.
-With season two came great change. With season three comes... great change again.
-It can not yet be revealed if all regulars will be returning for seasont three.
-Plans are, once again, to have a large passage of time between seasons two and three.
-A prequel to bridge seasons two and three is planned in the hiatus between the two. Expect it in September.
-"Also, the Season Three premiere will be introducing a couple of interesting characters, who might very well be recurring throughout the season. They're not Kih'Andari, and not Enoly. Not Vorian either."

No longer needing to maintain a cover, Saunders overtakes the base and prepares to force his way out. David finds himself caught up in what could become a fatal standoff.

Meanwhile, Colonel Grant and his team are confronted by Saunders' people. It appears Grant might have a past with one of them, and his influence could be everyone's only escape.

With the Circle of the Ancients in their hands, the Horizon team negotiates with Saunders to learn the use of it in connection to the Book of Nosah'trah. After much discussion, Saunders manages to cut a deal.

Meanwhile, the May'lan civilian colony come under attack by the Kih'Andari. Apalled by the merciless slaughter of civilians, the Vorians and Horizon cooperate to launch a retaliation. This adds significant gravity to Horizon-1's quest.

Soon after, Horizon-1 and Saunders venture to a collection of Ancient ruins. The search for the book of Nosah'trah begins, but Horizon-1 soon finds out that Saunders has a few extra cards up his sleeve.

NOTES
-Expect to learn a lot about the Nebulan, the Ancients, and how they're connected in this one.
-This episode is the third part of an overall arc, and the first part of a two parter.
-In this two parter, the team will be seeking out something from the season two finale.

SUMMARY

Christine has been captured by a new rebirth of the Trust. In an attempt to bring her home, General James Ross sends out an SG Team with an intent of rescue. However, Saunders has other plans in mind.

Meanwhile, Bay'lar accompanies Commander Ta'lik on the Ty'Pran to strike back against the Kih'Andari and their attack on the civilian Vorian colony. Ta'lik and Bay'lar soon discover that they may be in way over their heads.

As Christine and Saunders continue to unlock the secrets of the Circle of the Ancients, they grow ever closer to finding the fabled Book of Nosah'trah. However, they soon discover that they are not the only ones in pursuit.

SUMMARY

After months of looking for a suitable new base, the Tok'ra are more than willing to move off of Horizon. As Tarvash makes preparations to leave, Lenori does all he can to avoid being part of the move.

Meanwhile, Julia discovers the true nature of David's feelings about Horizon. After an interview with Zach, she begins to wonder just where his place is.

The Asgard arrive on the station to lend Horizon assistance in several areas. Horizon-1, in the mean time, assists the Tok'ra as Lenori and Kayla try to figure out their relationship. Soon, Horizon learns that the Asgard can help them solve a problem they've had for over a year.

NOTES
-This episode picks up on the Tok'ra story.
-In the near future, we may even find out what the Tok'ra research from "Troika" and "Catch 22" is.

Searching for the Book of Nosah'trah with newfound confidence, Horizon-1 stumbles upon the ruins of a fallen civilization. They investigate the area, yet they cannot seem to tell what caused the civilization to fall.

Meanwhile, back on Horizon, Callen's birthday is fast approaching, and Tom and Chuck endeavor to surprise him with something special. As Horizon-1 investigates the planet, Tom and Chuck try to uncover Callen's favorite food for the party.

Back on the planet, Horizon-2 is sent, including Ke'var and Kemper, to help Horizon-1 with the search of the city. Soon, members of the teams begin seeing figures and shadows. It seems the town might not be as abandoned as they had thought.

NOTES
-Due to time constrictions, "Incommunicado" has been shelved for a possible later date.
-"Trepidation" involves our character's fears... what unsettles them.
-This episode focuses largely on survival.
-3.06 goes back to Stargate roots, similar to "Providence" in that it has a classic Stargate feel.
-"Trepidation" marks the first appearance of Vorian Commander Ke'var, Sato's replacement as commander of Horizon-2.

As Horizon-1 takes a bit of down time, Day'ek Sonak contacts them with seemingly good news: there has been an attempt on Council Vahret's life. Sonak explains that it might be the work of a rogue faction inside the Kih'Andari that Horizon-1 has recently become familiar with.

Sonak believes that they must band together to stop the rogue Kih'Andari from vanquishing both sides, but Sivea refuses to buy into his ploys this time. Callen, concerned for his people and his son, decides to trust Sonak with added precautions.

On Callen's command, the team heads through the gate into enemy territory, unsure if they are among allies or adversaries.

NOTES
-This episode deals with the inner workings of an enemy of Horizon: the Kih'Andari.
-As the title implies, Horizon might be joining forces with an old enemy in this episode.
-Lots of shades of grey in episode seven, especially when it comes to the civil war.

Chase and the Horizon personnel are working vigorously to prepare for the annual station inspection, and all the working is causing Chase to grow fatigued. On her downtime, Arina Tey'vell pays Chase a visit, bringing with her the opportunity to relax and take it easy.

She show Chase an advertisement for a paradise planet, which seems like a welcome vacation after the stresses of life on the station. Grant gives Chase permission to go, and Arina, Chase, Zach, and Jerry head through the Stargate.

Upon arrival, all seems just as Chase imagined it. However, a simple pie delivery leads to an all out catastrophe as Chase becomes tied up in a conflict of galactic proportions.

NOTES
-This episode features the return of a character we have not seen for while while. Actually, perhaps two or three.
-The premise for the episode is... weird, but definitely entertaining.

Bay'lar returns to Horizon after fighting on the front lines, but his downtime is cut short when Callen informs him that his friend and mentor, To'man Garren, has disappeared. Bay'lar thinks back to good times with Garren, and eagerly awaits news. However, Callen soon informs him that the search is being called off.

Unwilling to bury his mentor, Bay'lar decides to go out alone and search for Garren. Scared for his safety and wanting to be there for him, Sivea accompanies him into enemy territory.

Upon arrival, they find the ruins of a Vorian ship. Before Bay'lar has any time to mourn, they are attacked by a strange, unknown ship. They soon discover that the ship is that of a new enemy resurfacing...

NOTES
-"Resurfacing" is the first part in the third of five two-parters this season.
-This episode will heavily feature a well-liked recurring character.
-3.09 will introduce a new alien species that has been mentioned before, and will play a pivitol role in part two.

SUMMARY

Bay'lar, Sivea, and Garren are now in the clutches of the Bentari. Bay'lar is subjected to brutal torture at the hands of Che'ralak, who appears to have an aversion for Bay'lar due to past actions.

Meanwhile, Sivea and Garren are forced to do work in the Bentari mining camps. Facing harsh conditions and no sign of escape, they struggle to survive. Back on Horizon, Callen launches a daring diplomatic negotiation in an attempt to get him people back.

As Bay'lar returns from his torture, he catches a glimpse of a possible escape method. While the captured Vorians prepare for a breakout, Callen attempts to settle things peacefully. The Bentari, however, have other plans in mind.

SUMMARY

During some down time, Tom and David head back to Earth to visit with David's family. During a barbecue, Julia Connor receives word that there has been an explosion in her office. Apparently, there have been casualties.

Meanwhile, Zach receives some bad news back on Horizon: His ex-wife was killed in the explosion at Julia's office. To make matters worst, it appears that the explosion was no accident at all.

While David, Tom, and Malcolm Barrett investigate the explosion, Zach returns to Earth with Jerry to ponder over things. He finds that when he gets there, his return trip back to Earth will be more exciting than he ever imagined when a person's life is put in his hands.

NOTES
-"Countdown" will take place back on Earth.

SUMMARY

The Enoly Regent uncovers a daring plot to assassinate him, at which Loral is the helm. He calls her to his presence and threatens to kill her. However, Loral reveals information about the Book of Nosah'trah to him in order to save her own life.

On Horizon, Horizon-1 prepares for another routine mission. In the mean time, Chase is overseeing an archaeological dig on another planet. Trying to remain hopeful, the team heads through the gate in the hopes that this planet will finally lead to the Book of Nosah'trah.

As Horizon-1 explores the planet, they discover that Loral and the Regent have sent out a search party of their own. As both groups search the planet,

-"Pursuit" will be the first part of the third two-parter out of five.

SUMMARY

Now in the grasp of the Enoly, Grant undergoes a rigorous interrogation procedure. In his own mind, his subconscious attempts to assist him in ascending before he reveals critical information about the Book of Nosah'trah.

Meanwhile, Horizon and the Free Draque work together to mount a rescue mission. Fearing that this may be a suicide, Callen considers the pros and cons of sending a small strike force to Enola. Knowing there is a strong possibility they won't return, Chase leads a team through the gate.

During all of this, a large collection of Mediators come together in one massive Mediation to select the new Regent. With power nearly in her hands, Loral makes one final power play for the title of Regent and ruler of the Ascendant Empire.

SUMMARY

Growing impatient with Horizon's seemingly futile attempts to find a mythological book, the Vorian Command Council extends Callen an offer. Vorian wishes to test its newly developed dissipation weapons for use in the civil war... And the Horizon-1 team members are the guinea pigs.

Along with Yusuf and Tom, the team joins a test firing of the dissipation weapons. They are astounded by their capabilities, and it appears that the tide of the war will change very soon.

Soon, things go horribly wrong. A malfunction leaves Horizon-1, Tom, and Yusuf stranded in space. Still back on Horizon, Callen, Grant, and Lenori launch a rescue mission that seems all too familiar for one of them.

SUMMARY

Chase shows the team a project he has been working on: A model of the Horizon station. The team is impressed by his abilities, and he himself is quite proud of the achievement.

However, there is little time to admire Chase's work as the search for the Book of Nosah'trah continues. After a briefing, the team heads through the gate off to another planet... except for Chase. He finds himself in the Horizon gate room, right back where he started.

The station is in poor condition, as Chase struggles to determine what has gone wrong. As he tries to get to the bottom of the strange occurances, it begins to seem like all of this is in his head. But that does not mean that his life isn't in danger...

NOTES
-This episode focuses around Chase, and you may notice some similarities with "Amazing Grace."
-Chase has been working on a project lately, should be interesting to see what it is.

SUMMARY

As the Vorian/Kih'Andari war rages on, the Vorians seem to be at an advantage. The tide changes drastically when the Tenari colony is overtaken by rogue Kih'Andari.

The news hits close to home for Callen, who is well aware that his son, Ma'kin was stationed on the Tenari colony. He presses the government to send a rescue mission, but there are no ships to spare. Seeing no other option, Callen takes matters into his own hands.

Along with Grant, Zach, and Lenori, Callen takes the Valiant to the Tenari colony and beams down. He begins to search for his son as the rogue Kih'Andari attempt to slow him down at every turn. Callen soon learns that if victory is to be had, sacrifices must be made.

SUMMARY

David manages to bring back a pool table from Earth in an attempt to cure downtime boredom. Hoping to find more Ancient outposts on M33-K56, Horizon sends shuttles to check the planets surface. They find more than they bargained for: A full-size Ancient city.

Horizon-1 is sent to the planet via shuttle, where they come into contact with the city's inhabitants. They are a race that call themselves the Novokians, and they have an exotic look to them.

Strangely enough, many of them have an interest in Tom. The team soon learns this is because of Tom's ancient gene. Tom continues to learn more about Novokian culture, and he slowly becomes obsessed with the city.

NOTES
-"The Allure of Atlas" will be the first Tom episode since "Aversion."
-In this episode we will see a fully-functioning Ancient city.
