Here is my review of Destinys pilot epsidoe I hope you guys like. Forgive any spelling errors please. I have to say I am liking where the show is going, and I also am reading Friendly Fire right now, and so far I am liking so more reviews to come.

Well this is Captain Pash, and I am here to give you a review of first episode of Stargate: Destiny. Now you may have seen me posting on the forums that I didn’t like the first episode of Destiny. Well in order to give you this review I decided to give it another go. Well I still have some reservations, but I like the episode a lot more than I did the first time. It is a good episode in general. The ending does show that the writing has potential, and I was hooked through the teaser, and the first act. I also didn’t like the middle, but then it got better towards the end.

The teaser was down right great. I mean I loved it. It is a great example of their writing. I could stop reading the teaser. The action was great, and they should have taken a que from that action when they did the later battle sconces, but that will come later. I really liked the teaser it just felt right. The first act was also a great act. I just couldn’t stop reading it. The character of Hemmingway, and Samson. They interacted well, and it felt good to read them.

We come to the second act and what happens? We introduce some cameos. Well, that is cool right? Not so much. They just weren’t written right. It just doesn’t seem to be the right words for the character. Though I can hardly blame Geoff considering that sometimes the SG-1 writers don’t get their characters right either. I read the middle, and well it was a blur or well sloppy writing. I was okay with some of the action, but I like the teaser better.

The end of the episode showed me hope, and I think that if they can improve they will have a good series on their hands. I will give this episode a 3/5. It is good, but not great. They need to improve. I really was pumped to read Destiny, but it almost felt like a let down. I am going to read Friendly Fire, and hopefully EAG won’t fire me and I can still review it for you my readers. Anyways, Destiny needs to improve, but have potential.
