What is a virtual series?

A virtual series is just as it sounds. A series done virtually. It is an idea that is concieved as a TV series and then released online. It can be released as scripts or in prose format. There are many different types of virtual series' out there, original, continuations of cancelled or finished series or spin-offs of existing series.

In the case of SG Universe, we're all about script based stargate series. So for Stargate, a virtual series' is essentially a fancy form of fanfiction that is released in scripts. The scripts are usually 60-80 pages long, depending on the series and the writer.
