- About Stargate Universe -

Stargate Universe was conceived as a place to act as a central HUB for all script based Stargate spin-offs. It had originally been a place in which more traffic and attention would be gained for the then, less known, Stargate Horizon and the soon to be released Destiny, Orpheus and Eclipse.

The idea came about sometime in June, when a fellow Horizon fan suggested a website that was dedicated solely to script based fanfiction for Stargate. It soon started to form, but a dry spell came across, and so nothing happened for a while.

However, after Horizon's joining with Gateworld and the whole Gateworld Network thing, didn't seem to be needed as place to bring attention to virtual series's. It, instead became, a place to find information on the new stream of virtual series being created.

With this new stream of members, one particular talented man, came across the idea of SG Universe and then the website just rocketed into creation. Undergoing various updates, as the website was already on the net, it didn't take long before the website turned into what you see before you - Thanks to Valorins help of course.

This website will list all the major virtual series' available to the Stargate fans, at the moment this includes Destiny, Horizon and Hyperion with a number of others soon to make their way to the frontline. Here you will find the latest news regarding these series', interviews with their creators and episode mirrors among other things.

Stargate Universe is the place to come when you're trying to get your dose of Stargate over the breaks, a place to come for the extra dose even when you've just finished watching SG1.
